History

The Container Inspection Training of the United States Coast Guard is relatively new. As a matter of fact, it is one of the latest and youngest units managed by the United States Coast Guard. It started with the efforts of the United States of America to reach cargo ships and containers that may contain hazardous materials and illegal substances. As a result, the Container Inspection Training of the United States Coast Guard was organized with a primary mission of inspecting the containers stationed in the ports.
